Individual Choice texts
Holiday scaffold (or Week 1)
Identifying key themes and ideas
Using this scaffold will make developing an essay question a lot easier, as most questions designed for the comparative will address theme(s). It is of course essential to be across key ideas and themes in a text regardless when you are analysing.
You will note that in the PDF there are sections with the heading, "Take Note." Please use these as guides for what you should be thinking and writing about. (You can use a word doc for your notes.)
